International & Federal Government Practice
The Firm’s international practice focuses primarily on the Middle East- particularly Iraq, its neighboring states and countries in the Arabian Gulf. This international practice is led by Timothy Mills out of the Firm’s Washington D.C. office. The Firm represents the current government of Iraq in various litigation and business matters. Mr. Mills has appeared on behalf of the Iraqi government in Federal Court, including most recently in the United States Supreme Court, and before various Federal Government agencies. Maggs & McDermott also represents numerous international companies who conduct business in the Middle East. Our representation is broad, including international business and trade transaction, negotiations of contracts with foreign governments, and United States contracting agencies.
